Lynn has helped thousands of women have easier births and faster recoveries. As a Women's Health Physical Therapist for over 30 years, Lynn is passionate about sharing her knowledge and wisdom with birth professionals all over the world so more women can birth and recover with ease.

Lynn combines the knowledge from Physical Therapy school with the healing energy techniques of Craniosacral Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, and Holistic Pelvic Care to help women reconnect to their body.

She teaches hands on techniques to align and mobilize the pelvis and pelvic floor to address blockages, dysfunctions and imbalances.

 

Lynn has discovered a common birth pattern the pelvis goes into during birth and knows how to release it. Knowing we are more than just our bodies, Lynn works on all levels, physically, energetically, and spiritually to help women access their full potential, reclaim and rediscover their pre-pregnancy body. She is excited to share this information with Israeli specialists!

?Why this course

Many women are suffering after birth. They aren't getting the help they need to heal their bodies after birth. Many are getting treatments that aren't effective and they are left wondering if this is how they are going to live the rest of their lives with these post birth issues. A lot of their post birth issues could be avoided by helping them have a better birth. 

These courses will give you the skills needed to be more effective in your treatments to help these moms prepare for birth and heal more completely afterwards. With the Schulte System for recovery you will have all the steps and techniques needed to know exactly what to look for and do. The techniques taught in this course can be used with ALL of your clients.

Objectives of the course

Holistic Treatment of the Postpartum body

  • To be able to palpate pelvic floor muscles externally and assess proper strength.

  • Perform proper techniques to assess and release liver and stomach and rebalance them.

  • Identify and palpate the 4 qualities of diastasis recti and learn two techniques to release restrictions holding recti muscles apart. 

  • Understand the common birthing patterns in the pelvis and know how to release these patterns.

Postpartum

Goals

  • Describe the common birth patterns and perform proper techniques to release it from the body.

  • Recognize that a pelvis is "still birthing" and know how to release it.  

  • Demonstrate proper listening skills of the tissues and identify energy flow and blockages in the body.

  • Learn proper techniques of releasing the soft tissues of the lower abdomen.

  • Assessment and treatment techniques of uterine and bladder mobility externally after birth.

  • Perform proper evaluation of the mobility of the pelvic bones with spring testing.

  • Assessment and treatment of pelvic floor muscles to activate stronger contraction of muscles.

  • Assessment and treatment of diaphragm restrictions.

  • Distinguish between organ mobility and restriction in the chest and demonstrate release techniques of restricted organs.

  • Learn proper assessment of diastasis recti & proper release techniques of restricted abdominal muscles and fascia to help heal diastasis recti.   

  • Effectively release C-Section scar tissue.

  • Help any Mom feel like herself in her body again after birth.

  • Understand which predisposing factors can influence pregnancy and delivery and what can be done about them.

  • Differentiate between signs and symptoms of low back pain versus pelvic girdle pain.

  • Be able to identify the signs and symptoms of pubic symphysis dysfunction and know how to protect the pelvis during labor.     

  • Be able to palpate the pelvis and have an idea of the alignment of the pelvis and how different positions during labor can benefit the mom based on her alignment.

  • Understand Pelvic mechanics in labor and delivery and how to influence them with different positions during birth.

  • Understand the different pre-existing back conditions and what labor positions are best for those conditions.

  • Learn to palpate and assess fascia, muscle, bone and joint mobility in the abdomen and pelvis. 

  • Learn how to balance the pelvic bones to relieve back and pelvic pain in pregnancy
    Understand the motions of the pelvis during birth and the common birth pattern the pelvis goes into for birth. 

  • Learn to assess and treat restricted lower abdominal tissues in pregnancy.

  • Learn to assess and treat pelvic floor muscle tension externally.

  • Learn to assess and treat restricted uterosacral ligaments and uterine mobility for better positioning of the baby in the belly prior to birth.

  • Learn to assess for increased tone in the psoas muscles and how to release it from the body.
